This time of uncertainty will be challenging for our Stage 6 students. Our response at RJ is to provide teaching and learning that is as close as possible to what students receive when in school and receiving face to face lessons. Students in Stage 6 will continue to follow the timetable published on Edumate; they will access their classes through CANVAS, completing ZOOM sessions for most lessons. Like Lower school students, Senior students will also have access to lesson content on the CANVAS pages. This means that they will have access to content should they miss sessions due to the internet or technical issues.
Rest assured, we are currently working to determine the path forward for our Senior students, particularly our Year 12. As soon as we receive guidance relating to what will happen at the HSC, we will inform parents and students.
At this time, the best thing all students can do is to work hard and do their best. By following the learning plans and lessons, staff have thoroughly prepared students will be well prepared for the challenges of their assessments and the HSC.
