Our staff are well equipped to meet the challenge of providing quality teaching and learning during this current phase of Distance Learning. They will be utilising our online learning platforms, Canvas and Zoom, to provide both synchronous and asynchronous learning. In years 7 to 10, students will follow an adjusted timetable that shows the lessons they will access through Zoom.
Thank you for your continued support of teachers and your encouragement of your children as they undertake learning remotely. We are aware that learning from a distance can be stressful and, in some cases, challenging. However, we are confident that our students are prepared for the challenges ahead. Since the start of this pandemic, students at RJ have consistently shown that they can work independently, take responsibility for seeking assistance and clarification when they need it and work collaboratively online. The skills they have learnt during this time will undoubtedly equip them well for the future, and we feel that the addition of Zoom lessons in our Year 7 to 10 Distance Learning Plan will provide better support and stability for all students.
